Rawrrrrr....

A little while back Molly was a bumble bee. Now she is a monster!

"Rawrrr!!! Are you scared?!"

hmmm... she may need some monster lessons.

 Molly goes to Monster University to learn to be a proper monster.

 "Uh... hello? Is anyone here? I'm here to enroll!"

 "Rats! School is closed for summer."

 "Oh well! It can't be that hard to be a monster!"

 Molly's Monster Lesson No. 1

"Eat a delicious breakfast to give you lots of energy!"

Molly's Monster Lesson No. 2

"Go scare! Rawrrr!!!"

And that's it! It's a cinch being a monster!

Lunch for Dad from Caroline

Caroline brings lunch to her dad at the shipyard:

 "I hope dad will like the egg salad sandwich I packed for him!"

 "I'm glad I brought some extra for the workers, I'm sure they are hungry too!"

"But first, some pictures."

 "It's such a beautiful day!"

 "Okay, everyone must be starving. I better get going!"

"La la la la la......"

Caroline skips along singing!

Bzzzzzz.....

Molly is a bumble bee and she is on a hunt to find some honey.

 First stop: The Hundred Acre Woods

Molly is unsure about meeting Tigger. "He is a tiger after all!"

Now poor Eeyore is unsure of Molly. 

He thinks she's a real bumble bee and doesn't want to be stung!

Pooh Bear loves Molly the bumble bee. He tells her to just look in his "hunny" pots. "You'll be sure to find some honey there!" he tells her.

 "No honey here!"

 "None left here either. Pooh must've been very hungry!"

 "Finally some honey!"

 "Golly! It's over flowing with honey!"

 "All that honey hunting made me hungry! I'll help myself to this delicious cupcake!"

 "Yikes! There's a bee on my cupcake!"

Back to being a doll!

Caroline By the Sea

 "Yay! I am so excited to get near the water!"

 "Wow! The ocean is a lot larger than I imagined!"

 "It is very bright and hot, maybe I'll go exploring behind those rocks there."

"It's nice and cozy behind these rocks."

 "I can't stay away from the water too long though!"

 "Ahhh..... the smell of the sea is the best!"

 "Time for a little rest. I wish I remembered to bring a picnic lunch, oh well, next time!"

Happy Birthday Samantha!

Samantha spent a lovely Birthday at Disneyland!

 Like a proper young lady Sam made sure she dressed her best. 

 First she had lunch at Carnation Cafe and was very pleased to find that the decor matched her outfit. She loves peppermint stripes!

 Next she went a fun cruise aboard the Mark Twain along with the beautiful Princess Tiana!

 Here she is being not-so-ladylike!

 "ahhhh... the fresh air is so nice!"

"That was a fun adventure indeed!"

Caroline's New Dress

Poor Caroline is sad after hearing the news of her archival. To cheer her up I made her this lovely dress from Thimbles and Acorns Bib Front Regency Dress pattern in a pretty lavender color.

The main fabric is Rowan's Shot Cotton which is actually two colors (blue and pink) woven together creating a gorgeous effect, and fully lined in ivory cotton. 

Hand gathered ruffled neckline trim and Chinese Knotted buttons.

Front tab closure under the bib,

Gathered sleeves with peep-hole cutout.

Drawstring high-waist that ties in the back.

May 2015 AGPLA Visit

Molly had a wonderful time visiting the American Girl store in Los Angeles!

 "I don't think Samantha would mind if I have some petits fours."

"This painting is turning out quite nice!"

"Hi Grace! What do you recommend?"

"Hi Molly! I highly recommend the macaroons!"

"mmmm... this bread smells delicious! I wonder if Grace would mind if I took a little bite."

"uhhh... I think there's a spot in my glass!"

 I guess Molly was really hungry this trip.

After visiting Grace's bakery and bistro, Molly had lunch inside the cafe with Julie.

Inside the cafe we met a White Body Molly!

 After all the eating Molly had a lot of energy to burn off.

Here she is trying some gymnastics. She is a much better tap dancer than a gymnast!

Molly ended the day by serving others! :)
