Bringing Home Isabelle!

Kirsten was ready to head out to AGPLA to pick up Isabelle when Molly called out to her.

 MOLLY: Kirsten wait!

MOLLY: Make sure Isabelle is a nice girl. If she is not then you shouldn't bring her home because it will change the whole doll dynamics.

KIRSTEN: Okay Molly, I'll be back later!

AT THE AMERICAN GIRL PLACE

Kirsten spots Isabelle practicing ballet.
KIRSTEN: Isabelle, are you a nice girl?
ISABELLE: ummm... well, yes. At least I like to think that I am.
KIRSTEN: Great! Now you can come live with me and my sisters. Molly said you couldn't come unless you are nice, but since you are you will be our newest sister!

ISABELLE: Would you like to learn to dance?
KIRSTEN: Sure!

KIRSTEN: Wow, this is amazing! Imagine all the dresses I can make with this. Thank you for teaching me to use your fancy sewer Isabelle. You really are a nice girl. Molly is going to be so pleased!

Since it was settled that Isabelle was indeed a nice girl and the perfect sister material, Kirsten decided to enjoy her first time at AGPLA  by exploring around.

She colored some eggs

made chocolate bunnies with Kit

and gave Kaya a big hug because she reminded her of her dear friend Singing Bird.

The McIntire kitchen was still on display and Kirsten had to pose in front of it for Molly... sigh....

BACK AT HOME

KIRSTEN: I'm baaaack! I need help getting Isabelle out of her bag and box!

The girls worked together to get Isabelle out.

Everyone ooohed and ahhhhed over the beautiful Isabelle.
SAMANTHA: She looks so peaceful sleeping.

MOLLY: Wait, don't open the lid yet! Kirsten, did you make sure that she was a nice girl?

KIRSTEN: Yes Molly. I asked her if she was nice and she said yes and she taught me ballet and sewing on her machine!
MOLLY: Okay, I guess she sounds nice. Let's open the box!

 KIRSTEN: Isabelle, we're hooooome!

ISABELLE: Oh! We're home already?!

Isabelle looked around her new home and surroundings.

ISABELLE: Molly McIntire!! Emily Bennett!! I can't believe you're my sisters! I am such a fan, I read all your books and watched your movie like a zillion times!

Isabelle got up excitedly and spotted Samantha.
ISABELLE: Samantha Parkington!! You are sooooo beautiful! You are like the most popular American Girl ever, and you're my sister!

ISABELLE: This is the best day everrrrrrr!!

New Year Gift Exchange

Happy New Year!

Christmas is over but because their gift exchange was postponed until New Years Day more presents were found under the tree!

The girls stopped to admire the tree and the wrapped presents and take it all in before opening up the goodies.

 "It's so beautiful!"

"Who wants to go first?" Kirsten asked.

"ME!" volunteered Molly. "I worked really really hard on my gift and I just can't wait another minute to give it!"

"Samantha, I'm your Secret Santa! I hope you like it!" Molly said handing Samantha her gift.

"Slippers! Oh, I really needed slippers! I can't believe you made these Molly. They're very hard to knit!" Samantha was thrilled to receive the slippers.

"I'm so glad you like them, and looks like they fit perfectly. They were indeed very hard to make, I messed up so many times I almost gave up!" Molly was relieved that Samantha loved her gift and that they fit.

"Thank you so much Molly, I really love them!" Samantha said giving Molly a hug.

"Now for my gift... it is for Kirsten!" Samantha said handing Kirsten her present.

"What a beautiful red scarf! It's just like the one I used to have back in Minnesota!"

"Thank you my Samanthee, I will treasure it forever!"

Emily went next because Kirsten asked to go last for some reason.
"Molly, I'm your Secret Santa!" Emily exclaimed. "I really hope you like it..."

"Wow! A blanket! This is so soft and warm, it must've taken you forever to make it!"

"Thank you so much Emily, you are such a dear friend!" Molly said giving Emily a hug.

"Yay! Finally my turn!" Kirsten was especially excited to give Emily her present.
"I hope you like it Emily," Kirsten said with a twinkle in her eye.

Everyone waited anxiously as Emily carefully opened her gift.

And then she let out a loud scream and almost fell off her chair frightening both Samantha and Molly. It seems Kirsten expected this reaction.

"What is it Emily? Is it a bug? a snake?" Molly asked with concern.

"It's a One Direction shirt!! ahhhhhhhhhh!!!" Emily screamed again with delight.
(note: even though Emily is a historical 1944 girl, we think something happened in the AG factory where she was inserted with modern girl characteristics as well as her canon Emily Bennett characteristics. This confuses Molly sometimes but she is getting used to it, slowly.)

"Thank you so much Kirsten, you knew exactly what I would like!" Emily said giving her a hug.

Molly and Samantha joined in also for a big group hug!
This is going to be a fabulous new year!

Christmas Morning Part 3

After opening their presents, the girls quickly got dressed in their warmest clothes, hats, and mittens and arrived in 1854 Minnesota to try out their new ice skates.

Kirsten and Samantha arrived first and waited for Molly and Emily while they put on their skates.

"Brrrr.... it sure is chilly!" Emily exclaimed.
"Indeed, but I like it! We're going to have so much fun!" chimed in Molly.

KIRSTEN: "Finally you're here, welcome to Minnesota!"
MOLLY: "Sorry we're late, we got a little lost coming here, I thought we were going to 1844 not 1854!"
SAMANTHA: "Oh, glad you got here safely. Let's skate!"

"It's slippery!"

Molly waving "hi" while Emily is trying hard not to fall.

Samantha skates by like a pro!

Kirsten trying hard to balance too. Those heavy skates on her wobbly legs makes it extra difficult.

Molly and Emily try holding hands and spinning.

Oops! Molly got dizzy and fell!
"Here, let me help you up Molly," Emily said giving her a hand.

Oh no! Emily also fell trying to help Molly.

Kirsten wasn't any good helping out either!

Even the pro Samantha couldn't help and pretty soon we had a doll pile casualty!
And it took a while to get up because they were all laughing so hard.

Finally everyone got up and did their best to not fall again.

"Perhaps I'll lean against this tree for a while," Samantha said still catching her breath.

"Minnesota is the best for ice skating, let's come back again!"

THE END

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, looking forward to the new year!
