Molly goes to Disneyland Part 1: Parades and Princesses

Miss Molly has been very busy this month. That's because she's been spending all her time at Disneyland! Here are some photos to show all the adventures she's been having.

She started out the season watching the Christmas parade.

Eagerly waiting for the parade to start.

"Here comes the marching soldiers!"

 "Princesses!!"

Speaking of princesses, Molly even dressed up as one!

 "I love this castle!"

A pensive Molly. :)

She even got close up sightings of more real princesses!

 Here is Princess Merida

 And Princess Tiana

We spotted Princess Tiana in the beautifully decorated New Orleans Square.

Christmas Morning

Hope everyone had a jolly Christmas!
Here is what went down with Miss Molly and Friends on Christmas morning, it was all about opening presents!

Molly leading the pack to the goodies!

"Wow! Looks like we've all been good this year!" Molly exclaimed with delight at the sight of all the pretty packages under the tree.

Samantha was the lucky girl to be first in opening her present.

She received a beautiful music box. "Just what I wanted! Now I'll have a special place to put my locket with mother and father's photo."

 Next up was Kanani.

"Oh what a beautiful dress, thank you so much!"

"hmmm... I wonder what I got?"

"Oh! Pretty ballet slippers to hang on the wall! These will be just perfect for my practice studio."

 Sweet Kirsten's turn!

Kirsten was teary eyed as she looked at the beautiful amber heart necklace originally given by her grandmother in Sweden.

 "Okay, my turn next!"

 "Golly, it's a real tiara!"

"Do I look like a real princess?"

Christmas fun has made even the usually poised Emily silly as she placed her present on her head.

Then she screamed and fell over with excitement when she saw her gift: One Direction book!

Merry Christmas!!

2014 LE Ruby Ballgown Review

Molly came home from her shopping trip with the 2014 Holiday Limited Edition Ruby Ballgown. I absolutely love this set!

Doesn't Molly look darling in it?
I love how poufy the skirt part is, the layers of tulle are very soft.  If you plan on purchasing make sure and open up the boxes so you don't get a wrinkly one (although I've read that it's fairly easy to get rid of the wrinkles either by steam or damp cloth, no iron!) This one is straight out of the box, no wrinkles. :) It also comes with the gold shoes, metal hair clip, and a coin purse (not shown).

Closeup of the bodice. I like that it's just a touch of sparkle, very elegant.

The coat is beautiful too, but I just don't like it paired with the dress, so I have Isabelle modeling it with last year's brocade holiday dress.  The material on the coat is a really nice wool like fabric, very similar to the one used on Felicity's red cloak.

The crystal (non-functioning) buttons are pretty. The coat doesn't close, but I don't mind because then you can show off the pretty dress underneath!

 Molly and Izzy together.
Aren't they a lovely pair?

Molly was a bit chilly without the coat, so she found some furry accessories to keep her warm. The cape is from Kaya's Winter Accssories, and the muff is Samantha's. I also used her hairclip that came with the set as a brooch.

Last shot.
Molly says she feels like a "real life princess!"

Molly's Christmas Shopping Trip

Molly had such a fun trip to AGPLA. She loved looking at all the pretty decorations and browsing through the store. Here are some photos of all the fun she had!

Posing in front of the beautiful tree.

Look at all the lovely new holiday outfits!

Molly just had to have a carriage ride.

She even ventured outside the store to admire more decorations and festivities.

On her adventure she came across Santa's workshop!

"I just have to make sure I'm on the Nice list!"

"Rats! It's just the boys!"

Emily's Birthday

Come and see all the fun from Emily's birthday party!

 "Happy Birthday Emily!"

"How lovely everything looks!" Emily exclaimed.

"The party hats are for us, but you get to put on the tiara since you're the princess of the party!" Molly told Emily as she helped place the tiara on Emily's head.

The other girls all grabbed their party hats to look more festive.

Kirsten had no problem getting her hat on.

Molly on the other hand had some problems!

"Here Molly, let me help you with that!" Isabelle said coming to Molly's rescue.

Next it was time for Emily to open her present.

Emily knew immediately what her present was even before she completely unwrapped it.

"An American Girl doll! Thank you all so much!"

Emily gave her doll a big hug. She's been wanting an AG doll forever!

Then the party got even more fun as the girls started dancing to Emily's favorite songs. Emily even got up on the chair!

 Of course Isabelle loves dancing!

Look at Samantha and Molly!

Kanani is still a bit shy as the newest member of the family, but she loves to dance too.

And Kirsten always loves to have a good time!

Everyone had a fabulous time dancing and eating cake at Emily's party.
