Final Five

Final Five

Molly, Isabelle, Kirsten and Emily are very excited about the Olympics and they hope with a lot of hard work they will one they be champions like the Final Five gymnasts.
They were so focused and busy they didn't even realize a new friend had entered the room.

 "ummmm... hello?!"

 "MELODY!!! You're finally here!"
Molly and Kirsten were first to greet Melody. It took Izzy awhile to get down from her handstand.

Emily approached Melody with a beautiful leotard.
"We've been waiting for you. Would you please join our gymnastics team?"

"Please say yes Melody! Kanani was supposed to be our fifth member but she says gymnastics is too much suffering so she went to the beach instead. We're really hoping you can join us!"

Poor Melody was a bit overwhelmed.
"ummm... well... I really don't know how to do gymnastics."

"That's okay, I didn't know anything until just recently. Izzy will coach us, she's a dancer but she knows a little bit about gymnastics," Molly said as she hopped on her bed. "Look, at first I could only do splits this far."

"But look at me now! Ta da!!"

(note: Molly has never done full splits before, she got a little carried away showing off for Melody. She might be in a lot of pain tomorrow!"

Melody not wanting to disappoint her new friends finally said,"well, sure why not?! I'll give gymnastics a try!"

Melody happily received her leotard and went to the bathroom to change.

 When she returned everyone cheered.

"You look great Melody! Just like a champion! This is going to be swell!"

 "Group Hug!"
"Now our team is complete, just like the Final Five! Go USA!"
"Welcome home Melody!"

Christmas 2015

(This post is so late!!)
Here are my dolls celebrating Christmas:

Christmas day everyone was dressed in their best dresses eager to open presents.

"Here Bennett, would you like a candy cane?"

Kirsten and Caroline were having fun playing with their dolls.

Although Samantha loved her teddy bear, she wished she had a doll to play with as well.

Shall we get to opening the presents?!

There was an extra special package for Molly under the tree.

"Hooray! It's from dad, all the way from England!"

Molly was beyond delighted to find a nurse doll.
"Dad knew exactly what I wanted!"

While Molly was opening her special package everyone else were busy opening their gifts.

 Emily received a beautiful flute.

"Oh dear! This is very lovely, but I hope I don't have to play 'Hot Cross Buns' again!"

Here's Samantha with her gift. Hopefully she'll get a doll she's been wishing for.

Yeah! She finally has a doll to play with Kirsten and Caroline!

Isabelle got a beautiful crystal headband.

"This is so pretty! It will be perfect for my next recital!"

 Caroline with her present.
She likes the ribbon, it matches her dress!

"A new crochet hook and bag, just what I needed!"

Kirsten and Kanani with their presents.

"Such cute nesting dolls!"

 Kanani received a dominos set.
"I wonder what you do with these..."

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!!

"bye!"

Winter Forest

I'm excited to announce that my first collection will be up on etsy!
I've sold several dresses back this Spring/Summer (big "thank you" to everyone who supported me!) but I've always wanted to do a full cohesive collection.

The collection is called "Winter Forest". It's an earthy collection with colors derived from those found in nature in the winter like snow white, pine green, and chestnut brown.
There will be a dress, sweater, jumper, coat and a hooded scarf hat in two colors.
You will also notice that the coat and hat is inspired from Molly's wardrobe in "Molly's Surprise!"

Here's the link to the shop:

Halloween Parade

Hope everyone had a fun Halloween!
Here's what happened at Miss Molly and Friends:

Molly, Emily, Kanani and Isabelle were all excited to wear their costumes to school.

Molly was so excited for the costume parade to start she just couldn't sit still.

She kept turning around to talk to Emily!
Miss Campbell: Molly please turn around and pay attention please.

MOLLY: Yes Miss Campbell.

Meanwhile at the Larsons:
CAROLINE: Are you sure your grandmother won't mind us cutting up her dress?

SAMANTHA: Definitely! She has so many dresses she won't even notice it missing!

KIRSTEN: And I'm going to make sure to sew back the holes on these sheets after we're done!

SAMANTHA: Make sure you don't make the holes too big, or else it might be too hard to sew it back up.

*snip snip cut cut*

Back at Willow Street School
MOLLY: You're late! The parade is about to start!

SAMANTHA: We were finishing up our costumes.
MOLLY: Oh. What are you supposed to be anyways?!

KIRSTEN: We're ghost bridesmaids and Caroline's the ghost bride.
MOLLY: Oh. Well you better get in line, the parade's starting!

 "Happy Halloween!"

This parade was brought to you by:
Emily Bennett as the Bride of Frankenstein

 Kanani Akina as a musubi

Isabelle Palmer as a bumble bee

Caroline Abbott as a ghost bride

Samantha Parkington as ghost bridesmaid no.1

Kirsten Larson as ghost bridesmaid no.2

 And Molly Mcintire as Dorothy

All the excitement must have gotten to Molly as she lost balance

and knocked everyone over like dominoes!
